Tertiary Colours:

Tertiary colours are colours made up of a primary and the secondary that’s closest to it on the colour wheel. In Art the Tertiary Colours are: Yellow-Green, Blue-Green, Blue-Purple, Red-Purple, Red-Orange, & Yellow-Orange.

Secondary colours are colours produced by mixing primaries. In art and design the three primaries are blue, red, and yellow, so secondary colours are purple, orange, and green.

Renoir

The Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir was born today (25th of February) in 1841. This is a graphite mini (3.5 X 5in, 8.9 X 12.7cm) portrait of Renoir in honour of his birthday.
